The aim of this study was to stand on the monitoring and analysis of the most important transformations in the theory of democracy and the nature of the trends contemporary, lies the importance of the subject of study in the democratic theory has become a global table in the context of the political systems of the various, and especially since the nineties of the twentieth century with the wave of democratization that prevailed in much of the the world, and because of the multiplicity of the enormous literature, trends and topics to be included in the framework of the theory of modern democracy, the study has to adopt an analytical framework based on rating trends in contemporary democratic theory in the framework of three main trends: the first direction, focusing on the concept of democracy and patterns, an interesting ancient and modern Book of democratic theory, and the second trend is interested in studying the process of democratic transition, and the third trend democratic theory deals with the relationship of globalization
